The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We had a king sized room. The hotel is older, but everything was very clean. The ac worked great. Our other friends had a suite with two rooms and their room was very spacious and very clean as well. We had flight issues and ended up arriving to the hotel very late (midnight), and the staff made sure we were able to get into our hotel room, since there wasn't a front desk person there that late. We had a great experience.
Delicious food and atmosphere, but cocktails weren't up to par for the price. I would still highly recommend it!
Old time charm but aging rooms. Some rooms are across the street above a couple of stores so there are stairs to climb. The rooms are very clean, some have just showers and some have tubs. Some have no hair dryers or ceiling fans. The rooms are quiet though. They appear to have been created quickly. Management is very friendly.
We were there with a tour group. Some thought it was great, others hated it. Our room (#27) was small, too full of early attic furniture. There was hardly any room to turn around. I was up half the night because the whole house air conditioner (?) rumbled all night despite the fact it was in the upper 30's to low 40's outside. We had turned our thermostat off, but the noise and banging pipes kept making noise anyway. Ask for the rooms accross the hallway, they looked spacious and nicer decorated. Our group breakfast in another building was excellent.
The room is clean and comfortable, but not as fancy as those big brand hotels. My family stayed in a 2-queen beds room and it has basic furniture but no desk. The bathroom is small with only a shower and toilet, and the sink is outside the bathroom due to the size of the bathroom. The curtains are very thin so the room is bright, so bring your blindfold if you choose to stay here. The plumber messed up the sink faucet and shower faucet, H is cold water and C is hot water!! And there is no hair dryer, no microwave, no frige, but a small coffee maker, so be prepared. I would have given a 4 star if there's a hair dryer.
