Simply amazing... The views are breath taking and the rooms are spectacular and the staff is the best I've met in a long time. Five star stay all the way. Definitely recommend to everyone.
Never saw the owner or any staff. Nice view and nice quaint cabins.
Also a big draw is the dark skies here. Owner might ensure that porch lights are red colored and on a timer. They might even take out the few random bushes and rocks so that you can come out in the dark, walk around, and watch the gorgeous night sky.
For two days there was no WiFi, then it was spotty at best. As most major cell carriers have zero coverage here, having reliable internet is a must.
The cabin is very clean. Bathroom is a bit on the small side but it's manageable. The host was result friendly and helped a lot. We used their on site grill to have BBQ, it was a blast!
Mountain Trails Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are clean and have a medium size refrigerator and a smaller microwave. The bathroom is clean, not very roomy but more than adequate with a very clean shower. There is no room service but you can get more towels whenever you need them during your stay. You have access to an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and tables. The view from your room is of mountains in the distance and there are plenty of walking tails within 15-20 minutes of the lodge including a short trail on the grounds of the Lodge. If you are looking for a “cabin” type lodge experience Mountain Trails Lodge is for you.
